Dear Sisters and Brothers,

We are proud to announce we have received SIX Pollie Awards last night!

Chuck Rocha, President and Founder of Solidarity Strategies, and Luis Alcauter, our Creative Director,  traveled to Huntington Beach, CA this week to attend the  American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) Conference.

We had a busy election cycle and are honored to have been recognized for our mail, phone, and digital services.

Solidarity Strategies won awards in the following categories:

  • Best Direct Mail – President
  • Bernie Sanders for President WA
  • Best Direct Mail – Public Affairs
  • Best Direct Mail – Independent Expenditure Campaign – US. House of Rep.
  • Latino Victory Fund for Darren Soto
  • Best Use of Internet Radio
  • Latino Victory Fund for Darren Soto
  • Best Automated Call – Local
  • Chuck Rocha for DC Delegate
  • Campaign Excellence Award – Local Campaign Manager of the Year
  • Al Jabbar in Jose Moreno for City Council in Anaheim, CA

The Pollie Awards are the most prized and sought-after awards in the political communications and public affairs industries, with Esquire magazine dubbing the Pollies “the Oscars of political advertising.” Every entry – whether submitted by a large consulting company or an individual consultant – is considered equal in competing for honors of excellence.

We are most proud of the Campaign Excellence Award for Local Campaign Manager. This was received for the Anaheim City Council race in California for Jose Moreno, a Mexican immigrant who obtained citizenship through the Reagan amnesty. Al Jabbar, a Muslim immigrant, managed his campaign, which was successful by 44 votes despite being outspent in a ratio of 15:1.

As one of the very few Latino-owned and operated firms, we are especially excited to be recognized for our work amongst our peers. It is an honor to be recognized among consultants nationwide, of all political affiliations, and levels of campaigns. We appreciate all our supports and clients us in the last seven years of our firm’s existence for giving us an opportunity to do the work that we do.

Viva la Resistencia,

Solidarity Strategies
